Angela Buffoni is a London based artist who uses photography as a medium of expressing ideas and concerns. Her interest in photography began in the 70s when she was a Fine Art student in Rome. In 1978 she received Nominee Awards recognition for painting in several competitions and since then her work has been exhibited in various group exhibitions. In the 80s she moved to London to study Photography and in 1989 she completed a three years degree course in Film, Video and Photographic Arts at the Polytechnic of Central London. In 1988 participated in the Spectrum Women’s Exhibition at the South London Art Gallery. In 1994 she completed an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury. She lives in London where she combines photography with her work as a tutor and lecturer.
